Fall Family Campout - October 21-23, 2016 @ Bealeton, Virginia

Pack 1195 - 2016 Fall Family Camp Overnighter  

  • Costs
    • Saturday, DAY ONLY  - $8 per person - includes Dinner, and S’mores
    • CAMPERS - $10.00 per person - Cost per person, for weekend
    • FAMILY - $25.00 max – 3 or more people
  • Meals
    • Meals provided by the PACK (included in Cost)
      • Dinner and S’mores on Saturday
      • Breakfast on Sunday
    • Meals provided by CAMPERS
      • Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast will be on your own - note that the pack stove and supplies will be available for to use, if you like
  • Volunteers – I will need several parent volunteers to help with meal prep and cleanup.   Please pitch in and help out.

October Popcorn Order Due to April Blankenship

The popcorn orders are due on September 28, 2016 by 8:00 pm for an October delivery.  Please scan them to me at GreenA8@aol.com and confirm I have received the order.  I will submit the order on the 29th and delivery to me will be the weekend of October 15.  Once I have received the popcorn, I will sort it and send you an e-mail that it is ready for pickup.  You will come pick it up, deliver it and collect any money due (checks to Pack 1195).  Once you have completed all your sales and collected all your money, we will coordinate a time to get it to me and I will pass it along to the Pack Treasurer.

Popcorn Sales 2016

Popcorn forms and information were distributed at the Raingutter Regatta on August 19, 2016.  The Pack Committee has made the decision to make the popcorn sales participation mandatory this year.  Each Scout is required to sell $315 worth of popcorn or pay an opt out fee.  The fee is $105 or the difference between $105 and the profit they earned for the sales they made (ask me if you are unsure how to calculate this figure).  An e-mail should have gone out to all families today with the available popcorn booths.  Please let me know immediately if you did not receive this e-mail.  Den leaders - please check with any new Scouts to see if they received this e-mail as I used e-mails listed in the Pack roster.  

The Cub Scout Thrift Rack

A Scout is Thrifty. This is the 9th point of the Scout Law. We do not waste, and we reuse and recycle when we can to help each other and the environment. If you are not saving your hats, neckerchiefs, slides, shirts, etc for keepsake items, please contribute to our new thrift rack being managed by Sara Lowry. There is always someone who can use the help, so give a little to gain a lot and help a friend in the meantime! Any scout shirts, hats, or other gear that has been outgrown or is no longer being used can be donated at any of our Pack functions.
